- sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp
- 3 1/2 tsp
- baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp
- 1/2 c
- grated cheese ( i use chedder)
- 1 c
Melt butter in 13x9" pan.
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Add cheese, milk and stir slowly with fork until it just clings together.
Turn onto well floured board and roll over to coat with flour.
Knead lightly ten times. Roll 1/2" thick til 8x12"
With floured knife cut dough in 1/2 lengthwise, then cut crosswise into 16 strips.
Pick up strips in both hands and dip each strip on both sides in melted butter.
Taste like cheese- its to me.
