Of course I've seen other recipes. But mine is the best (lol, that's my opinion). It's quick and easy and oh so satisfying!

1/2 lb
thick cut bacon
2 tsp
black pepper
1 c
brown sugar

How to Make Candied Bacon


  • 1Preheat oven to 350
  • 2In large bowl toss bacon and black pepper.
  • 3Dump brown sugar over bacon and coat well.
  • 4Cover baking sheet with foil. Lay bacon flat on a baking sheet. Cover with another sheet of foil. Bake for 20 minutes.
  • 5If the bacon isn't done after 20 minutes, cover and continue cooking for 10 minutes.
  • 6Remove from oven. Set on wire rack to cool. The bacon will seem soggy-ish. But once cool it will be crisp!
