Of course I've seen other recipes. But mine is the best (lol, that's my opinion). It's quick and easy and oh so satisfying!

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound thick cut bacon
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 cup brown sugar
How To Make candied bacon

Step 1Preheat oven to 350

Step 2In large bowl toss bacon and black pepper.

Step 3Dump brown sugar over bacon and coat well.

Step 4Cover baking sheet with foil. Lay bacon flat on a baking sheet. Cover with another sheet of foil. Bake for 20 minutes.

Step 5If the bacon isn't done after 20 minutes, cover and continue cooking for 10 minutes.

Step 6Remove from oven. Set on wire rack to cool. The bacon will seem soggy-ish. But once cool it will be crisp!
