This is so simple and easy to make. Passed down in 2006, from cousin Diane P. in Regina, Sask. Canada Sooooooooo good! Really Yummy !!!

Ingredients

  • - make or buy a pastry (pie) dough
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 - egg beaten
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons cream or milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

How To Make canadian butter tarts......from diana in regina, sask.

  • Step 1
    Pre-heat oven to 350 F. Line miniature muffin pans with pastry dough for shells. Sprinkle raisins and walnuts into shells. Beat egg, add brown sugar and butter, mix well, add corn syrup, milk, and vanilla. Mix again. Pour into shells. Bake 12-15 minutes.
