butterscotch bird nests
My aunt introduced me to these fun little snacks. We made them for Easter and it was a perfect treat, not to mention a hit with everyone! The recipe can be tweaked to however you like your nests, and it is all based on personal preference.

How To Make butterscotch bird nests
-
Step 1Put the butterscotch chips in a glass bowl and melt in the microwave. The amount is completely optional, I used the entire bag.
-
Step 2Once the chips are melted, stir in the chow mein noodles.
-
Step 3On a piece of parchment paper, take a small scoop of the chow mein noodle mixture and form a small nest with your hands. Place the eggs on top.
-
Step 4Do not refrigerate, just leave uncovered on parchment paper to dry.
