Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, cold
- 1 pound brown sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 dash salt
- 1 (15 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make brendas caramels

Step 1Melt butter. Add sugar, corn syrup and salt. Stir in milk. Cook and stir over medium heat to firm ball stage (245*) 12-15 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour into buttered pans.

Step 2Chocolate caramels: Add 2- (1 oz unsweetened chocolate) with milk.
