How to Make Beer Pretzel Caramel Squares
- Pour beer into a glass, let go flat for 1 hour.
- Butter 8 inch baking dish. Bring half the beer to a boil and reduce 10 minutes.
- Combine remaining beer, brown sugar, corn syrup, cream and butter; bring to a boil until a candy thermometer reads 235 F. Remove from heat and stir in reduced beer and roughly chopped pretzels. Spread in dish and chill until firm. Cut into squares.
