Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/8 cup yellow onion
- 1/4 cup fresh sauerkraut in a jar
- 1/4 cup deuseldorf mustard
How To Make bavarian burger bites

Step 1Finely chop 1/4 of a sweet onion. Heat a skillet over med. heat and saute the onions until transparent and soft.

Step 2In a large bowl (or a mixing bowl) thoroughly combine the ground beef, chopped sauerkraut, onions, 1 egg and mustard.

Step 3Mold the mixture into small patties. (I used a biscuit cutter as a mold)

Step 4Cook the patties over a grill, broiler, or skillet. Salt & pepper and cook completely through .

Step 5Garnish with condiments of choice. (I used a dollop of mustard, thin sliced pickles and tomatoes.) Serve for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, appetizers etc. They are good hot or cold.

Step 6Store in the refrigerator if you're lucky enough to have leftovers.
