Chex must have had a contest, and somehow it caught my attention, because I've queued up four new Nuts 'n Bolts recipes. This was one of the favorites -- it took less than a day for my work to eat it up. . .

Ingredients

3 cups honey nut chex
3 cups cinnamon chex
2 cups pecan halves
1 1/2 cups dried banana chips
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon banana extract
1/2 teaspoon rum extract

How To Make bananas foster crunch mix

Step 1

In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, pecans, and banana chips.

Step 2

In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon, uncovered, on High, about 1-1/2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until melted and smooth. Stir in extracts. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.
Step 3

Microwave, uncovered, on High, 3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool; break into bite-sized pieces. Store in airtight container.
