What a great idea -and oh so easy...another wonderful FB recipe that gets filed under "favorites" ..and of course, there's no reason to stick to only Pepperoni for the fixin's. Be creative, daring and -Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c
    water
  • 1/3 c
    shortening
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 4 large
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    finely chopped pepperoni (or other pizza appropriate 'topping')
  • 3/4 c
    romano, parmesan or mozzarella cheese- shredded
  • 2 Tbsp
    freshly chopped parsley
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 jar(s)
    spaghetti/pizza sauce

How to Make Baked Pepperoni Pizza Poufs

Step-by-Step

  1. Grease 2 large baking sheets.
  2. In a large saucepan combine water and shortening. Bring to a boil. Add flour all at once, stirring vigorously. Cook and stir until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat. Cool for 10 minutes while preheating over to 450 degrees F. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in pepperoni, cheese, parsley, garlic powder, and pepper.
  3. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 to 17 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with pizza sauce for dipping
