How to Make bacon wrapped water chestnuts

Step-by-Step

  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees. take a water chesnut and roll in bowl of brown sugar. take a peice of bacon and wrap around water chestnut. use toothpick to hold bacon in place and stick it on baking pan. repeat until all water chestnuts and bacon is used up.
  2. bake in oven til bacon starts to smoke up. i think its about 10-15 minutes. i know bacon is done right when it gets smokey.
  3. transfer to another dish and serve.
