These are so easy and moist. Usually have the ingredients in the cupboard.

Not overly sweet, chewy, and moist these are really good! The sweetness comes from the applesauce, honey and raisins. Great for a quick light snack. Toasting the oats with the butter on the stove top just adds to the great flavor. Yum!

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups oatmeal, uncooked
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1/3 cup honey
How To Make applesauce energy bars

Step 1Stir raisins, applesauce and vanilla; set aside.

Step 2Melt butter in pan over medium heat and add oatmeal and nuts stirring constantly; 3-4 minutes.

Step 3Stir in cinnamon and salt; cook 1 minute.

Step 4Pour mixture from pan into a bowl.

Step 5Stir eggs and honey into raisin mixture.

Step 6Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Spread into 8x8 buttered pan and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
