Ingredients
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1/3 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 large egg white
- 1/2 cup roasted almonds, chopped
- 1/2 cup dried cherries, chopped
How To Make almond cherry bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Line 8" square baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 3Spread oats onto baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes until toasted. Place in medium bowl; cool.

Step 4Place almond butter, honey and coconut oil in microwave safe bowl. Microwave 30 seconds until warm. Whisk until smooth.

Step 5Whisk almond extract and egg white into almond butter.

Step 6Add almonds and dried cherries to oats.

Step 7Pour almond butter over oat mixture. Stir until well combined.

Step 8Press firmly into prepared pan.

Step 9Bake 20 to 22 minutes until lightly browned.

Step 10Cool in pan 15 minutes.

Step 11Remove from pan, then cool completely on wire rack.

Step 12Cut into bars.
