I make these Toasted Pecans for Christmas gifts. Just make sure that you only use real butter, as margarine will not give the flavor that the pecans deserve.

Ingredients
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1/2 cup butter
- - salt, to taste, i use popcorn salt as it is very fine
How To Make toasted pecans

Step 1Melt butter in a heavy frying pan. Add pecans and coat well with butter. Spread on a baking sheet and toast for 1 hour at 250-degrees. Drain on brown paper bags. Sprinkle with salt.

Step 2Then hide or they will soon be gone.
