With our Pecan trees giving us a bumper crop, I always have people ask how can you Roast and Salt Pecans for a keep around snack. THIS IS IT!

Ingredients
- 2 ounces butter
- 8 ounces pecans, halved
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make toasted pecans

Step 1Preheat oven 350.

Step 2Melt butter in saucepan.

Step 3Stir pecans in melted butter until they are thoroughly coated.

Step 4Spread pecans on a cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes in 350 oven until lightly toasted, stirring once.

Step 5Remove from oven.

Step 6Sprinkle lightly with salt.

Step 7Let cool and serve.

Step 8Store in airtight container.

Step 9Yields 1/2 pounds.
