With our Pecan trees giving us a bumper crop, I always have people ask how can you Roast and Salt Pecans for a keep around snack. THIS IS IT!

How to Make Toasted Pecans


  • 1Preheat oven 350.
  • 2Melt butter in saucepan.
  • 3Stir pecans in melted butter until they are thoroughly coated.
  • 4Spread pecans on a cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes in 350 oven until lightly toasted, stirring once.
  • 5Remove from oven.
  • 6Sprinkle lightly with salt.
  • 7Let cool and serve.
  • 8Store in airtight container.
  • 9Yields 1/2 pounds.
