Found this in the Missouri.life book.Thought I would give it a try. I have made it 4 times now. Noe I will be makeing them for all the youngsters and us for Christmas.. It is so simple...

Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tablespoons pecans,ground.
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon bourbon may use rum
- 1 - egg white,room temp
- - pinch of cream of tartar
- - pinch of salt
- 2 cups pecans, halved
How To Make sweet pecans...

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 350...Place brown suger,ground pecans and cornstarch in a bowl and mix well. Add bourbon or rum and blend till smooth.

Step 2Beat egg white with cream of tartar and salt.untill it holds stiff peaks... stirin 1/3 of egg whites into sugar mixture and blend well...Add remaining egg whites (It will become more liquid)...Add pecan halves,stirring gently to coat nuts...

Step 3Butter a baking sheet and arrange nuts (Top up.)on buttered baking sheet.(Keep them separated batter will puff up.).. Bake for 12 minutes. Then let cool befor serving
