SWEET AND SPICY PECANS

1 1/2 Tbspgranulated sugar

3 Tbsplight corn syrup

3/4 tspsalt

1/4 tspcoarse black pepper

1/4 tspcayenne pepper

1 1/2 cpecan halves
How to Make SWEET AND SPICY PECANS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Center rack in oven. Spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and set aside. - Combine corn syrup, granulated sugar, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper in bowl. Mix well. Add pecan halves to coat.
- Place pecans on baking sheet. Bake 5 minutes; use fork to stir nuts to coat with mixture. Place a large sheet of foil sprayed with cooking spray on work surface. Continue baking until pecans are golden and coating bubbles, about 10 minutes. Transfer nuts to foil. Work quickly to separate nuts with fork.
- Cool completely and store in airtight container.
