These are sooooo good! I used to love them when I was able to eat nuts! Now I just make them for the holidays for everyone else to enjoy.

Ingredients
- 1 pound pecans
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 - egg whites
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon water
How To Make sugared pecans

Step 1Stir sugar, salt, and cinnamon into a bowl.

Step 2In second bowl, beat egg whites and water until fluffy, not stiff.

Step 3Add pecans and stir until coated.

Step 4Pour sugar mixture over pecans and stir again until coated with sugar mixture.

Step 5Spread on cookie sheet and bake at 300 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Stir every 10-15 minutes.

Step 6When done, let pecans cool a few minutes, then remove to a large piece of wax paper and finish cooling.

Step 7Break apart large pieces that are stuck together. Store covered when completely cooled.
