Ingredients

  • 4 ounces pecan halves (about 1 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 large egg white, lightly beaten

How To Make sugared pecans

  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 350.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, toss the pecans with the sugar, cayenne, melted butter and egg white.
  • Step 3
    Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake, shaking and tossing 2 to 3 times during cooking, until pecans are golden brown, about 20 minutes altogether.
