  • 4 oz
    pecan halves (about 1 cup)
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1/8 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 large
    egg white, lightly beaten

How to Make Sugared Pecans


  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the pecans with the sugar, cayenne, melted butter and egg white.
  3. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake, shaking and tossing 2 to 3 times during cooking, until pecans are golden brown, about 20 minutes altogether.
