This is one my mom, Linda Whitehead, had published in a church cookbook. Once you start eating these it's very hard to stop.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pecan halves
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 - egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • - pinch of salt

How To Make spiced pecans

  • Step 1
    Beat egg whites and water until frothy. Add pecans and stir well.
  • Step 2
    Mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Fold into nut mixture until well coated.
  • Step 3
    Bake on a buttered pan at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
