I've never used anything but pecans, but I suspect almonds would work well in the recipe too.
How to Make Spiced Pecans
- Beat egg white and water until foamy (not stiff). In second bowl, combine sugar, salt and cinnamon. Pour nuts into egg mixture and stir until coated. Add sugar mixture - stirring well.
- Spread evenly on cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Spread out on wax paper to cool.
