I was given this recipe years ago & it remains a favorite at Christmas time. I take this to work and other parties.

Ingredients
- 8 cups original quaker oatmeal squares (cinnamon is good too)
- 2 cups pecans
- 1/2 cup karo light syrup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make praline pecan crunch

Step 1Heat oven to 250 degrees. Combine cereal and pecans in 13" x 9" pan. Set aside.

Step 2Combine corn syrup, brown, sugar, and butter in sauce pan. Cooke over medium to medium high heat until boiling. Remove from heat adn stir in vanilla and baking soda. Stir. Pour over cereal and stir to coat evenly.

Step 3Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Spread onto wax paper until cooled. Then break up larger pieces and store in air tight container.
