Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups salted dry roasted peanuts
- 1 1/2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup, light
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make peppery peanut brittle

Step 1Coat a 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray...set aside. In a bowl toss the peanuts hot pepper sauce and allspice until evenly coated..set aside.

Step 2In a 2 Quart microwave-safe glass bowl combine sugar and syrup. micro on high cook uncovered for 4 minutes, stir in peanut mixture, stir til well blended.

Step 3Heat on high for 4 or 5 minutes longer or until mixture turns a light amber color {mixture will be very hot}..Stir in butter micro on for 45 seconds longer,,,quickly stir in baking soda and vanilla until mix foams and becomes light colored. Immediately pour mixture pan and spread thin with spatula. cool and break into pieces....this was tested in 850 watt microwave.
