- 1 tablespoon water
- 3 cups pecans, halved
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon clove, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Step 1Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

Step 2Mix egg white & water in large bowl. Add pecans & stir until pecans are well coated with egg goo.

Step 3In small bowl, mix sugar, salt & spices; mix well. Add sugar mixture to pecans & stir until pecans are well coated.

Step 4GENEROUSLY butter a cookie sheet (one with edges works best). And I do mean generously; really slather it on! Spread pecans on the cookie sheet. Bake 30 - 40 minutes, stirring once or twice during that time.
