Ingredients

1/3 c
raisins or craisins
1/2 lb
firm tofu
1/2 c
pure maple syrup
1 Tbsp
tahini
2 tsp
all purpose flour
1/2 c
very hot water
1/4 c
vanilla soy yogurt
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon
2 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 tsp
maple extract
1/3 c
chopped walnuts

How to Make Maple Nut Spread

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place raisins in a small bowl and pour the hot water over them; set aside.
    Place remaining ingredients, except the raisins and nuts in a blender or food processor. Blend well, scrape down sides if necessary.
  • 2Drain raisins and chop into small pieces or chop in blender. Add raisins and nuts to the tofu mixture and blend well.
  • 3Pour mixture into a greased baking dish and bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
    Mixture will keep in refrigerator for up to 3 days or so.
