  • 1/3 c
    raisins or craisins
  • 1/2 lb
    firm tofu
  • 1/2 c
    pure maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2 tsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    very hot water
  • 1/4 c
    vanilla soy yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    maple extract
  • 1/3 c
    chopped walnuts

How to Make Maple Nut Spread


  1. Place raisins in a small bowl and pour the hot water over them; set aside.
    Place remaining ingredients, except the raisins and nuts in a blender or food processor. Blend well, scrape down sides if necessary.
  2. Drain raisins and chop into small pieces or chop in blender. Add raisins and nuts to the tofu mixture and blend well.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish and bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
    Mixture will keep in refrigerator for up to 3 days or so.
