frosted pecans
A friend gave me this recipe after I went crazy over them. I make them every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everyone just loves them Last year my 13 year old grandson requested the recipe so that he could make them himself. (They look real nice sprinkled over a cookie platter.)

Ingredients
- 1 - egg white
- 1 teaspoon cold water
- 1 pound pecan halves
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (or a little more)
How To Make frosted pecans

Step 1Beat egg white slightly. Add water and beat until frothy, but not thick. Add pecans and sir so they are all well coated.

Step 2Mix remaining ingredients and add to nuts. Toss well to coat.

Step 3Pour mixture onto a greased cookie sheet and bake in 250 oven for one hour. Stir occasionally while baking.

Step 4Bet you can't eat just one!!
