diamond's spiced walnuts
Just opened a new 3 lb. bag of walnuts, and on the back I found this recipe. I've always wanted to try spiced walnuts. Here's the resuts and the recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups walnuts, halves or large peices
How To Make diamond's spiced walnuts

Step 1Boil sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and water to 235 degrees F on candy thermometer (soft ball stage).

Step 2Remove from heat and add walnuts. Stir until creamy.

Step 3Turn out on waxed paper; separate walnuts, using two forks.
