A recipe from the closet on an index card. No indication where I got it. But, it sure is tasty. Makes a large amount--good for a party, wedding, or baby shower!

cooking spray

1 1/2 cfinely chopped cooked chicken

1/3 cchopped almonds, toasted

1 cchicken broth
-
1/2 cvegetable oil
-
2 tspworcestershire sauce
-
1 Tbspdried parsley flakes

1 tspseasoned salt
-
1/2 - 1 tspcelery seed
-
1/8 tspcayenne pepper (optional)

1 call-purpose flour or unbleached all-purpose flour

4 lgeggs
How To Make chicken nut puffs (appetizer)

1Preheat oven to 450°F. Grease baking sheets, or use cooking spray.

2Combine the chicken and almonds; set aside. In a large saucepan, combine the next 7 ingredients; bring to a boil. Add flour, all at once; stir, until a smooth ball forms. Remove from heat; let stand for 5 minutes.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well, after each. Beat, until smooth. Stir in chicken and almonds.

4Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake 12-14 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm. Makes about 6 dozen.
