Ingredients

  • 16 ounces pkg. yellow cake mix or sugar-free
  • 1/3 cup light margarine, softened
  • 2 - eggs, divided
  • 14 ounces can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or other nuts
  • 8 ounces pkg. toffee baking bits

How To Make caramel nuts bars

  • Step 1
    Combine cake, light margarine and one egg in a bowl; mix crumbly. Pat into a greased 13x9" baking pan.
  • Step 2
    Combine condensed milk, remaining egg and vanilla in a separate bowl; stir until well blended. Stir in pecans or other nuts and toffee baking bits.
  • Step 3
    Spread over cake mix mixture. Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into bars. Make one dozen.
