My mom used to make these every Christmas season but they are great for any gathering.

Ingredients
- 4 cups walnuts
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
How To Make candied walnuts

Step 1Combine sugar, sour cream and vanilla in large skillet. Heat over medium to medium-high heat, stirring until well incorporated.

Step 2Bring to low, rolling boil, stirring constantly for about 4 minutes.

Step 3Remove from heat and add walnuts. Using 2 rubber spatulas, toss, and stir to coat the walnuts.

Step 4Turn out onto waxed paper and separate with forks. Store in airtight container.
