I suppose any skillet will work, but my Grandma told me to use cast iron, so that's what I do :)
It seems to be easier to buy raw peanuts already shelled around the holidays. If not, that is the longest part of this process - to shell the nuts!
Very easy to double. If you use a big enough skillet and sheet pan, you can double without messing up any more dishes.
