I was given a small container of raw almonds. To me they needed a little something. Butter makes everything better, right? So this is what I did, and they taste pretty good!

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/4 - cups of raw almonds with skins
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of butter
  • salt

How To Make buttery almonds

  • Step 1
Melt the butter in a 10 inch skillet over medium heat. When the butter is all hot and bubbly add the almonds to the skillet.
  • Almonds browned and fragrant.
    Step 2
Stir the almonds to coat with the butter and keep them moving so they don't burn. After several minutes they will be browned and become fragrant.
  • Almonds on paper towels.
    Step 3
Spoon onto a plate with a layer of paper towels. Season with salt to your liking. When cool place in an air tight container.
