taco crackers
Hope you'll join my Just a Pinch group: Family Food Traditions--Sharing JOY on the Journey! I got this recipe from a friend several years ago, and now they are one of my "standard" holiday treats! (I make them during the year, too, but everyone ASKS where they are when it gets close to Christmas!) My daughter is not a "sweet snack" eater, and she LOVES these! I've started quadrupling the recipe, because I want to give them away to lots of people, and my family kept getting into the crackers I was trying to save for gifts! I was using the Nabisco Premium Saltine Oyster Crackers, but when Kroger was out, I tried the store brand. Now think I actually prefer the Kroger store brand (which are 1/3 the price!) I double the recipe in my large roasting pan, and it works perfectly! These are almost ADDICTIVE!
