  • 4 c
    rice chex cereal
  • 4 c
    wheat chex cereal
  • 2 c
    bite size cheese crackers
  • 1 c
    bite size pretzel twists
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 3 Tbsp
    steak sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 c
    french fried onions
  • 1 c
    salted mixed nuts
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder

How To Make steakhouse chex mix

    In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, crackers and pretzels. In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter on high about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir in onions and peanuts. Sprinkle with onion and garlic powders; toss until evenly coated. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.
