This is from my Leisure Arts Presents The Spirit of Christmas Book, These crackers can be made and served all year round as a nice appetizer or serve with soups.

Ingredients
- 2 jars 5 oz. each pasteurized process sharp chese spread
- 2/3 cup butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
How To Make spicy cheese creackers

Step 1In a large bowl, beat cheese spread, butter, red pepper, and salt until well blended. Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time, using hands to knead until all flour is incorporated. Knead in pecans. Divide dough into thirds. Shape each piece into 8 inch long logs. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill over night.

Step 2Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut logs into 1/8 inch sllices. Transfer to a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in a cookie tin.
