These crackers are tasty alone, and excellent with your choice of sliced hard cheese. Also good with smoked sausage and cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 box any brand saltine cracker
  • 1 package ranch style dressing mix
  • 2 tablespoons crushed red peppers
  • 1 1/3 cups canola oil

How To Make seasoned saltines

  • Step 1
    Open all four sleeves of saltines and empty into a large Ziplock bag.
  • Step 2
    Measure Canola oil into a 2 cup container/measuring cup.
  • Step 3
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Step 4
    Pour seasoned oil into Ziplock bag. Gently toss to coat all crackers. Gently toss every 15 minutes. for 1 hour 15 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 250 for 10 minutes. Let cool, store in airtight container.
