My favorite way to serve this delicious spread is on pumpernickel bread cut in small squares. Perfect for an afternoon tea party with the girls.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons liquid from salad olives
  • dash ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chopped green salad olives (the jar will say "salad olives." they are bits and pieces of green olives with pimentos.)

How To Make green olive spread

  • Step 1
Combine the cream cheese and mayonnaise in a medium bowl and mix well. Add the liquid from the salad olives and the pepper and mix.
  • Step 2
Fold in the pecans and salad olives. May chill if not serving right away. When ready to serve, soften until it is spreadable.
  • Step 3
Serve on crackers or the bread of your choice. Great holiday spread or any other time of the year.
