I found this recipe in my late Mother's recipe box. For many years Mom belonged to a card club, that met once a month. The ladies took turns hosting. When it was Mom's turn she'd have a dish of candy and a dish of peanuts at each card table. Midway through the evening the ladies took a break for conversation and Mom would serve something more substancial like these yummy crackers and one or two similar goodies. Seldom did the evenings end before one a.m. because there was always a dessert that brought the ladies night out, 'with the girls' to a close. My family loves these crackers. Enjoy!
