These tasty crispy little crackers are great as an appetizer or an accompaniment for soups or salads.

8 oz
shredded cheddar cheese (i used a mix of cheddar and monterey jack)
1/2 c
butter, softened
1 1/2 c
1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
cayenne pepper

How to Make Cheese Crackers


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2Mix all ingredients together and form into roll.
  • 3Refridgerate for 1 hour. (I rolled the dough up in waxed paper and put it in a plastic bag to keep overnight)
  • 4Cut into 1/4" slices or thinner for a crispier cracker. Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • 5Bake for 9 - 10 minutes or until set. Cool completely.
