These tasty crispy little crackers are great as an appetizer or an accompaniment for soups or salads.

  • 8 oz
    shredded cheddar cheese (i used a mix of cheddar and monterey jack)
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayenne pepper

How to Make Cheese Crackers


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix all ingredients together and form into roll.
  3. Refridgerate for 1 hour. (I rolled the dough up in waxed paper and put it in a plastic bag to keep overnight)
  4. Cut into 1/4" slices or thinner for a crispier cracker. Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 9 - 10 minutes or until set. Cool completely.
