While visiting in my hometown just before Christmas my cousin served this snack mix and it was plain to see it was extremely addictive! She graciously gave me the recipe, so I'm sharing it here.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 c
    crispix cereal
  • 1 c
    fritos (original or chili cheese)
  • 1 c
    goldfish crackers
  • 1 c
    puffed corn snack (original)
  • 1 c
    puffed corn snack (cheese)
  • 1 c
    bugles snack
  • 1 c
    onion flavored rings
  • 1 c
    gardetto's specialty snack (original)
  • 1/2 can(s)
    (15 oz.can) mixed nuts

How to Make ANNE'S CRAZY MIX

Step-by-Step

  1. These are all the ingredients I used. Yours may vary.
  2. In a large pot or Dutch oven, melt butter. Stir in taco seasoning mix until smooth.
  3. Add all the snacks and stir until blended.
  4. Pour mixture into a 9x13" baking pan, spreading out evenly.
  5. Bake in a preheated 250º oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and drain briefly on paper towels.
  7. Keep in air-tight containers, and enjoy!
  8. NOTE: The snacks you add are entirely up to you. If you do not like my choices, feel free to adapt to your own preferences. Happy snacking!
