3 slice
whole wheat pita bread
non-stick cooking spray (butter or olive oil flavor)
onion powder, to taste
italian seasoning, to taste

How to Make Semi-Homemade Whole Wheat Pita Chips

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2Cut each pita in half, then into quarters. Tear each chip in half at the larger end, making two chips for each one that was cut.
  • 3Place chips in a single layer on a baking sheet. Lightly spray pita bread with cooking spray. Season with onion powder and Italian seasoning, to taste.
  • 4Bake 5-7 minutes. Serve warm. Store any leftover chips in an airtight container.
