Ingredients

  • 3.5 pounds potatos, red, cut crosswise into 1/8 inches
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted

How To Make baked potato chips

  • Step 1
    Position racks in upper and lower third of oven and preheat to 500.
  • Step 2
    Lightly grease 2 baking sheets and arrange potato slices in single layer on prepared baking sheets.
  • Step 3
    Brush generously with butter.
  • Step 4
    Bake 7 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Switch pan positions and continue baking until potatoes are crisp and browned around edges, about 7 to 9 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Transfer to heated platter.
  • Step 7
    Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper and serve immediately.
