1 1/2 cups sugar
•
1/4 cup light corn syrup
•
1/4 cup water
•
6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) butter

1 cup heavy cream
•
1/2 teaspoon salt
•
1 tablespoon sea salt or smoked salt (optional)
