INGREDIENTS
FOR THE MEATBALLS, COMBINE:
12 oz. each ground chuck and pork
[1]⁄(2) cup grated Parmesan
[1]⁄(2) cup dried Italian bread crumbs
[1]⁄(2) cup plain Greek-style yogurt
3 Tbsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. each kosher salt and black pepper
FOR THE SAUCE, HEAT:
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 cup each grated onion and carrots
3 Tbsp. minced garlic
3 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 Tbsp. dried oregano
[1]⁄(2) tsp. red pepper flakes
STIR
2 cans crushed tomatoes (28 oz. each)
1 cup canned tomato sauce
1 cup dry red wine
Sugar to taste
FOR THE SPAGHETTI, COOK:
1 lb. dry spaghetti
Chopped fresh basil
Grated Parmesan
