INGREDIENTS
1 pound andouille sausage, chopped
1 small yellow onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 celery stalks, diced
1 pound dry red beans, soaked overnight (optional)
4 cups water
1 tablespoon Soul Dust (alternatively, you can use a garlic season all or granulated garlic)
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1 stick butter (8 tablespoons) sliced (optional)
The Boot seasoning, to taste (or an alternative Cajun seasoning)
rice, for serving
salt, to taste (optional)
