1 lb carrots

1 lb small red potatoes (about 2" in diameter)

2 stalks celery
•
1/4 cup chopped onion
•
2 beef stock cubes
•
1 cup water
•
1/4 tsp Gravy Master or Kitchen Bouquet (optional)

Rub for meat:
•
1 recipe of alternate rub for Maple Glazed Short Ribs
•
To thicken:
•
2 tbs cornstarch (for each cup of liquid)
•
2 tbs water (for each cup of liquid)
