1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, or to taste

1/2 cup of light brown sugar, packed
•
1 (6 ounce) can of pineapple juice
•
1/3 cup of soy sauce
•
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
•
2 tablespoons of water
