1 pound breakfast pork sausage browned, drained of all but 1/4 cup of fat
1 pound Canadian bacon 1/4-1/2-inch, cubed , browned
1 onion peeled and finely chopped
1 can tomato puree 28 ounces
1 cup dark maple syrup
1 1/2 cups strong brewed coffee
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup bean liquor or 1 cup unsweetened apple juice or cider
2 large bay leaves
Half-sized Batch:
