INGREDIENTS
1 pound pork sausage
1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
3 cups milk
1 10.5-ounce can cream of chicken soup
Homemade biscuit dough (see recipe below)
For the biscuits:
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
3/4 cup milk
