1 T. finely grated fresh ginger (peeled)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 c. brown sugar, packed

1 tsp. sesame oil
•
1/4 tsp. sesame seeds, plus extra for sprinkling if desired

3 stalks dried lemongrass (or 1 3-inch piece of fresh lemongrass)

1 ½ c. water
•
1/4 c. lite soy sauce
