Cauliflower is such an unsung hero. We love it in so many ways. Steaming the cauliflower whole makes a beautiful presentation, and the lemon-garlic yogurt sauce really dresses it up nicely.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, medium
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1/2 - 1 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoons grated lemon zest
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 2 teaspoons fresh chives, finely chopped
  • salt & pepper to taste

How To Make whole cauliflower with lemon-dijon yogurt sauce

  • Step 1
Remove leaves from the cauliflower and place it "whole" in a steamer. Water should barely touch the bottom of the cauliflower. Steam for approximately 15 minutes or until tender, but still slightly crisp.
  • Step 2
Combine mustard, yogurt, lemon juice, zest, and garlic - mix well.
  • Step 3
Place cauliflower in a small serving dish and spoon yogurt mixture over the top. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with chives.
